I am not inclined to fully believe this article, due to the source and the party politics involved. If indeed it is the truth then I think this is wrong. People should be able to fully involve themselves in politics without fear of retribution. It seems very petty and it put folks jobs at risks. Hardly good PR for any party caught up in it. As with every Daily Record article, there is a caveat. The DR is hardly non-partisan, basically it is an uncriticising mouthpiece of Scottish Labour.
