I am not one who can put easily into words how this news has affected me. And the support by graduates and current students shows the impact that you have had on all of us. You have made all of us become the best dentists we can be. Every time we do a crown, we revert back to those same basic principles that you spent countless hours teaching us. Our dental assistants roll their eyes when we say we are about done with a prep yet they know that we are going to go back and fine tune it for the next 5-10 minutes! I will reveal a secret that I have always had since the day I graduated and only my wife knows about....for years (14 years this month to be exact) I have never laid a foot in the dental school for fear that I would have to repeat a class or something crazy like that. I know, crazy thoughts! After football games when people cut through the dental school, my wife and I would always walk around Postle Hall. Never have I had a desire to go into that building for fear that they would take me back. I promise next time Im in Columbus I will proudly walk into that building and march into those pits with my wife and two daughters in your honor. For that is where my career truly started.
