I am not sure I can adequately thank everyone who helped me tough - TopicsExpress

I am not sure I can adequately thank everyone who helped me tough out my first 100, but I am going to try. To the volunteers and aid station captains, you all did an incredible job. There are no words to express my gratitude for your encouragement and help, especially as the race went on. To the spectators, you were also instrumental in keeping me going. It was great to see familiar faces out there. I was fortunate to have an awesome pacer as well as my husband crewing and pacing for me: Sean and Curtis kept me moving. To my fellow racers, thank you for your kind words and humour out there. Brad Polman, you got me out of a funk and helped get me to Boston in good spirits, it was great to run with you. I know the relay was controversial this year, but my only experience with the relay runners was positive. I was so grateful for their encouraging words as I was trudging along. Course marking was amazing, even in the dark we were able to stay on course easily. I should also note, those of you who attempted BR100 last year were all inspiration for me to attempt the race this year. I was a volunteer at the race last year and was impressed with all your performances. I guess that begs the question, which volunteers from this year will be toeing the starting line next year?? Finally, WRR thank you for another great race.
