I am not sure if you all know, I started out carving dry gourds in 2006. They were fall and winter designs and would light up.....But weather at times you could not grow them, so I did not have gourds to carve. We built our home in an association and they will not allow us to grow in our yards, but someone allowed me to grow a few in their garden and they did pretty good.....so when they dry out next year, I will carve them and post a picture.....I just thought this would make a nice fall special interest story....:) I am way to old to be bending over and picking this up out of gardens........may have to stick with paper clay designs.....LOL
