I am not sure whether the two opposed writings on the wall - TopicsExpress

I am not sure whether the two opposed writings on the wall adressing the same issue can be used to hint or define the state of reasoning for these different communities. In Thonjeni street they had a dumping problem, Dump use to drape the Zwide stadiums wall stench would haunt those that lived closer after lengthy deliberations the community embarked on a clean up and the resolved as evidence by the statement which i think captured their frustration, it read Akulahlwa nkunkuma apha Ukuba ubonwe ulahla inkunkuma uyakuyitya this means No dumping here if you are caught dumping you will eat your junk. Harsh! Fast Foward. In Motherwell NU2 Bhungane Street the same occurred with dump mounting and overwhelming the NU2 Stadium wall. It was unbearable. After the clean up in Motherwell a writing was erected on the brick wall which read, No Dumping here Please we want the Best Life i saw this and i was taken aback. I tried to capture the thinking of the writer such objectivity i could not forsee when i think of the filth. It was at that moment that i recalled the writing in Tonjeni and all sorts of questions rushed in to my mind. Was this reflective of collective conciousness? Does this only speak the mentality of a society? Did they assign a single person to write on their behalf? I dont know but all i know the contrast in the statements adressing the same issue rveal more than i am able to comprehend at the present.
