I am not surprised of what has befell Hon. Magerer, the ODM Executive Director today. It has been coming for a while now. I sympathize though with him, especially that he did not seem to see it coming. Today, the Stalin has demonstrated that he does not give a hoot about how Hon. Magerer stood with ODM despite the strong wave of URP in Rift Valley, a wave that swept him out of Parliament. My surprise is that those who witnessed the incident, but who believe that they are insiders in the Stalins court, continued with the agenda of the day as if nothing had happened, not knowing that the same fate awaits them as and when they will hold a variant opinion from that held by the Stalin. It has happened to many, and Hon. Magerer K J Langat is not the last to face it. In terms of the organization of ODM, the unwritten Stalinist policies are quite clear: democratic rights threaten the position of the Stalin, and hence democracy is incompatible with Stalinism, as practiced in ODM. Power in ODM has over the years become more and more centralized in the Stalin, who brooks no dissent and encourages violent purge of all those he regards as even potentially dangerous to his hold onto power. As part of self preservation, the Stalin identifies those whom he considers problematic with disloyalty to the objectives of the revolution, if ever there is any, and uses this as a weapon to exterminate them politically. The most important Program of Action in MY party, ODM, today, is an extensive use of propaganda to reinforce the personality cult around an absolute dictator, the Stalin himself, and the use of violence to maintain submission in the rank and file. Anyone who thinks that he or she is immune to this violence and propaganda, because of the current proximity to the Stalin, should look at the long list of the Stalins lieutenants. At the end of the day, they face the same purge, in the same old fashion. I cry for my party ODM. May God rescue ODM.
