I am not trying to start a firestorm here, I am not trying to make enemies. I will preface my comments by saying I am a Christian and I am proud of that. I know we have all talked about how God has been taken out of the schools and that we should bring God back in the schools. I firmly believe in prayer and or a moment of reflection in school. I believe that students should be allowed to assemble around the flag pole to fellowship and worship as they please. However, I am wondering if those who feel that way are also open to allowing the other religions their time to do the same. If we are going to put God in school, shouldnt we also allot time to other religious deities as well. If we are asking other religions to accept our God, shouldnt we at least be willing to approach with the same open mind we are asking others? I dont have a problem with prayer in school, I dont have a problem with the words One Nation Under God. I just want to know how others feel.
