I am officially counting down. I will be 40 years old one year and 8 days from today and I am not even a little bit fearful of the milestone. I am, however, brutally aware of the many ways I could be a better version of me. I want to do it knowing I’m taking care of myself mentally, physically, and spiritually. And if I’m honest, I know I haven’t been giving it my all. I’ve neglected my physical health, my spiritual walk has not been up to par and my mental well being is suspect at times (lol). I have made many excuses and I’ve continued to wait for some big ‘Aha moment’ to shock me in to making a change. There is no big moment. There is just me. And a desire to be better. So, this is the beginning of my 372 day journey. Every day, I will do something that makes me better. So if you try to contact me by phone and I dont answer...leave a message, If you ask me to do something and I tell you I cant...I hope you understand. from this day forward I have to prioritize and restructure so much in my life.
