I am often asked, Dave, how do you catch so many fish off your dock? Well it doesnt go without some thought and effort. 1. I built a fish condo. No seriously, I built a ten feet wide by 7 feet tall structure that is now hanging beneath the dock. 2. I suspend a high power under water 36 LED drop light 8 feet below the dock that comes on at dusk and turns off at dawn. The dock looks like an alien invasion from Close Encounters. 3. I fill a gallon milk jug with dog food and drill holes in it to attract minnows. There you have it. I basically provide free room and board and I keep a neon light on that says Vacancy. Tonight I walked down to the dock and had ten - yes I counted them - carp feeding off my jug like babes to a... Though I dont fish for them. They were fun to watch.
