I am okay. All my communication services are down at the house. I have cell and Internet at the marina but thats it. Boat is fine. House suferd water damage but no windows broke. I have a large patio on my second story and the drains cloged. I took a nap on my couch and woke up to a water fall down my staircase. The first part of the storm seemed rather mild and once the eye passed over I figured that was the worst of it. Boy was I wrong. The back end of the storm brought the most wind and rain I have ever seen. I have a concrete house and u could feel the walls shake. There is heavy damage all over town. Many buildings destroyed. All the high tension power lines are down. About half of all power polls in town are down. Many lost homes in the poorly built areas. The marina is a disaster area I would say over 90 percent of boats are okay. The ones that took all there outriggers and cloth material down did well. Those that did not sufferd. A few boats sunk probably due to bad batteries to run bilge pumps. The marina slips held up for the most part. A few fell apart. Just about all the end ties ripped apart and some were drifting with big boats still tied to them so u can imagine the damage they did to the boats they came in contact with. Several boats on east side had there bow pulpits ripped out. Probably be about a week before boats can get out to fish but not sure. The distraction to the town will take much longer. Hope I never see this again. I have lots of Vidio and will try to get it up as soon as my DSL line is up. Got a few pics from iPhone
