I am on top of the world right now and need to shout it from the rooftops ( but FB will have to do!). Just about Everyone that knows me, knows about my oldest granddaughter, McKayla and her heart issues. We got awesome news! Her heart valves that she got almost three years ago are still going strong! They were only supposed to last about a year!! Her cardiologist said her heart is much stronger than it has been and she has been cleared to do BJJ and wrestling and just about any other sport she wants to ( except weight lifting) and the doc says that she can probably go a few more years without having to have another surgery ( which we already knew was going to be a necessity). Thank you Colleen Rossi-Custer for being such an awesome mommy to her. I honestly believe that you letting her be a kids and not trying to bubble wrap her has helped her heart strengthen. Thank you McKayla, for being such a strong strong girl. You rock! And thank you Kyle. The young man who gave the gift of life to McKayla. You must have been an amazing young man. I cried like a baby today but for once in a long time, they have been happy tears! Life is good today!
