I am one of many parents who just registered their youngest child for their senior year at Dunwoody High School. I am SO NOT that parent tearing up at the last firsts. Ready! The registration process was smooth and lines were short. Paperwork was easy to complete. Teachers and parent volunteers were cheerful and well prepared. And even though High School Girls schedule had two errors (the first in my 8 years at DHS), even that course change process was calm and courteous. (Alethia Love is a treasure.) Even as the DeKalb County School administration continues their lackluster leadership, this neighborhood school demonstrated class and personal care for the students and parents. Kudos to DHS teachers and parents for all your hard work! And let High School Girls senior year begin!
