I am outraged, sickened and disgusted to read what this family did to the dog they adopted. Days Den have always heard from me the minute any of my foster/adopted dogs escaped and they were and are always my FIRST contact. I call, text, anything, to make sure they know I have an emergency. When my Pyro was killed by a driver who didnt stop, Days Den were already aware of his leash breaking and his possible area of location AND that we were on foot and in a car trying desperately to find him...and they were the first people I called when we found him on the road. IT DOESNT MATTER IF IT GOES WRONG WHEN YOU ADOPT what does matter is if you do nothing but inflict abuse or let your dog escape with no care. Sickening. I am sickened by this post.
