I am overwhelmed with joy! Dr James Atkin told me today my situation is bad, but not hopeless! I have hard work to do, but if I bring my side, he will operate. We are not sure if it is the right eye or the left or both that will be operated on. Time will tell. The left eyes retina is hanging by a thread and could detach any day. Which will be disastrous of course, but guess what ... He hears me. So, there is the little issue of losing a hell of a lot of weight very fast; Good news is, on Monday I am joining Dr Thys Heyns on his Reshape Stellenbosch #reshapein8 challenge. For moral support I will have Liefie Marius as well as Leatitia Solomonss friend @Mathilda of Chommiez joining me. Watch this space for the #Before photos.and follow our progress. We will need your support please! Then, I will need a #Diabetic Specialist to work with me to control the blood sugar. A wonderful #diabetic nurse @Helen is willing to assist and try and get me an appointment with Dr Nortje. (Apparantly very strict!) I do suspect God knows me better than even I know myself. It will take a goal like regaining my sight to change my very scary disregard for my own health. Desperate times calls for desperate measures! I am seeing Dr Atkin again on 04 November and there better be a huge improvement. My verse I got yesterday: Romans 13:12 The night is nearly over; the day is almost here.
