I am packing the last of my suitcases. I am so afraid of leaving behind something that I need for writing. But then, if I have pen and paper, Ill be fine. Typing could come later. I bought a little portable DVD player that I can put beside me on the bed as I type. I think that will work better than the TV that is far across the room. I also ordered a big clipboard that I can use as a lap desk. So many details! Yesterday I finished my errands, then sat down and went over my outline for the Summer House book. Its now nearly 16,000 words. Huge! But its nice to go into it knowing my characters so well. Romance Writers of America asked me if I could write a post about writing for them once a week for a month. Uh, well, I think I could manage to say a few words. They want me to say things to motivate writers to keep at it. Dont give up. For me, its the opposite. I need motivation to make me do the things that arent writing. So anyway, Im going to do it for the month of March. It might be fun telling where I am at the moment. Ill copy the post onto here so you can see it. Who in your family deals with the banking, bill paying, etc? For me, autopay is one of the great wonders of the world. Jude
