I am planning to start webex sessions for Information Security learning - one hour each. The sessions will be 15 / 20 min info sessions from me in PT format and then open to discussion / questions Frequency will be 2 times a month late evening time. Once it starts it will be open to anyone who wants to present. My plan is for the following: - Report writing for InfoSec leets - Incident Response (Public Communication) - What is Information Security - Information Security Certifications (CISA, CISM, CISSP etc) - BCP/DR - A look at common infosec technologies like SIEM, DLP - Internet of Things - Shape of things to come - new age risks - Risks and Threats - Nigerian Scam - Cyberwar and terrorism - a myth or reality - Cybercrime and increasing sophistication - Cyber Patrolling and Intelligence gathering Please suggest any topics of interest and your feedback abu the above. The announcements will be made by me on my timeline or the Indiawatch timeline until it gets out of hand. :) While I shall welcome suggestions for additional topics, I shall also like to get messages from people who are interested to present. Mind you - these will not be technical presentations but will introduce the concepts and will be presented in common language.
