I am pleasantly surprised & impressed by an evolving statesmanship camaraderie that appears to be building between the Leader of the Opposition and the Head of State if what I hear on private radio is true. Both leaders would emerge with admirable integrity scores if they employed their patriotic fervour after the political acrimony to unite the nation in its positive diversity. There is no reason or basis for hardened working relations between the two leaders because the nation has given each of them varying, albeit, complimentary mandates: one is to effectively lead a government of the day, the other is to present a tangible, audible, visible alternative voice. Their followers ought to know that the elections battle camps cannot retain the same electioneering hostility because elections are CIVIC wars & not civil wars. No one is crossing the floor but building bridges to move the development of the country forward. There will be time to return to the polls. Right now, its time to love & prioritise Botswana. If what I hear is true, the political maturity of these two national leaders is a personified response to their respective swearing-in prayers of So Help Me God! He (God) does answer! The youthful Leader of the Opposition is also representing the youth well in exhibiting this maturity. Let it never be said that the younger by age cannot rule lest they faulter due to age. Now we know, voting age means leading age that comes with responsibility & respectability. If its true, then we now know, that the Head of State is definitely not a vindictive man but a true patriot. Let it be seen & heard that this country is back on its feet as a development-oriented, democratic, free, fair & transparent community of peace lovers. WE SEEM TO BE GETTING OUR COUNTRY BACK WITHOUT PROLONGED ANIMOSITY. IT IS DOABLE! LETS DO THIS!
