I am pleased to announce that I Chair of Student Outreach for the Engineers Club of Philadelphia. A major focus is promote/facilitate the exposure and educational opportunities for K-12 and college students that reside in this Region to engineering fields and professions. A career in engineering requires a curious nature to learn and know, the propensity towards questioning any and everything, STEM educational curriculum in secondary and primary schooling systems, mentoring, exposure to information/knowledge, tenacity, and opportunity. We have a large pool of engineers within our network and do partner with other organizations in activities that advance engineering and science. We have a speaker bureau, give tours, and mentor among other activities (too numerous to name here). Let me know what your thoughts are and how we may be of assistance.
