I am pleased to inform my friends on facebook that I have been honoured, on Queen’s birthday, with the Order of Australia medal for service to the community of the Werribee region and to education. As is often the case, an award of this nature is not due to the efforts of one person alone but to efforts by a team of people who have worked tirelessly with myself on a range of community projects and services. I am therefore grateful to all my friends, colleagues and fellow workers who have assisted me on the journey. Thank you all.
