I am posting this to share Jordannas scary experience and hopefully help even 1 girl out there. Jordanna was in Calgary for the stampede and went to a tent bar with a group of friends last night. After a short time of arriving, Jordanna collapsed. Thankfully her friends realized there was something very wrong with her. She was rushed to the hospital and although it cant be determined with 100% certainty, it is believed she was drugged. It disgusts me to think that there are such sick people in this world. This is why parents worry. Jordanna is a smart and responsible girl and she thought she was taking all the necessary precautions. She did not put her drink down once. Im sure she thought this would never happen to her, but yet it did. We cannot begin to express our gratitude to her amazing friends (Shyla and Becky Fisher) for their quick response, never leaving her side and taking such good care of our girl. Thankfully Jordanna had people looking out for her and she will be fine. Another young lady may not be so lucky. You can never be too careful. Please look out for one another.
