I am posting this video in memory of the late great Phil Everly, the youngest member of the influential pop duo The Everly Brothers, whose first anniversary occurs today. Phil Everly sadly passed away on 3rd January 2014 at the age of 74, bringing to an end to a musical partnership with his older brother Don that stretched from their teenage years into their mid-seventies. The duo came to national prominence in the mid 1950s with their hit Bye Bye Love, with Phil taking the high parts and Don the low, an arrangement they would stick by during decades of fame.
