I am presently walking around Philly on a beautiful sunny day ,listening to the houses of the holy remaster bonus disc while my gracious hosts are at work and my buddy sleeps off the Slowdive hangover I should be feeling as well. This is bringing back previous Philly memories, specifically a glourious Swervedriver road trip that my friends Kyle Donne, Erik Sugg, and Steven Robbins made way back in 1997. We were listening to houses of the holy as we drove into the city and after we parked we were all walking around singing the ocean. We visited 2 different music stores and they were both playing the ocean! Fast forward almost 2 decades later and here I am seeing a shoegaze show and walking around the same streets singing the ocean.
