I am probably going to get a lot of heat for saying this - especially from people who dont really understand the concept of business, efficiency and profiability. BUT, I dont care. I honestly believe, think and know that the Ghana Embassy in Washington DC should be given to a private firm to manage. At least the day to day operations of the Embassy. I say this as a patriot who has nothing but the best intentions for my country Ghana. The consuls can remain elected by the government and stay political as they always do - but every operational position should be privatized. This is just my opinion - not that it matters now but someday it will and it will do the country a lot of good and make it more profitable. I dont know about the other consulates we have in other countries, but I can only speak on behalf of the one in DC. Im done.
