I am puzzled to admit that most of my trials and tribulations have been engendered by some people I have trusted, including some close to me in Nigeria. The fact is I have been there for many at their time of need and not harmed anyone in my entire life to warrant this state of ceaseless subterfuge from folks who claim to be Christians. Someone elsewhere who should know has asked me to focus on the book of Timo thy. One even admitted to me in a recent dialogue that “You have to use your head” to survive the various schemes and machinations. But God has safely guided me through it all, and for that I am exceedingly grateful because none of the dubious labels from A to Z is going to stick. Only time will tell what has been the spur for these folks: manipulation, greed, celluloid scheme, covert operatives, malice, jealousy, plain craziness or “folo, folo” as Fela Kuti says.
