I am reaching out to anyone in the school who may be open to the idea of introducing a Relay Recess(for Primary/Elementary age) and Relay Field Day(Middle/High School age) into the schools. For the past 5 years I have volunteered with the American Cancer Society as a team captain with a local boy scout troop and recently I became a committee chair person with our local Relay For Life(East Central Division out of Scioto County) in addition to being a team captain. As a proud Bobcat Alumn, I would love to see about getting the schools involved. Not only does it raise money for research, but there is a lot of teaching and raising of awareness to the students and communities involved. If at all possible, could someone care to pass this along to someone or point me in the direction of who to contact about this.
