I am reading On her own by Milly Bennett. Wilbur Burton (Wallaces brother) and she were arrested in China and wed put up the newspaper article before here. The story is much more interesting than was stated in the newspapers and the involvement of the US Embassy in getting her arrested was pretty amazing. The US was on the wrong side (AGAIN) in 1926 and opposed the Nationalist uprising of Chaing Kai-Chek at the time. Then they supported him over Mao. Boy, the US just keeps replaying the same screenplay.
