I am reading and tearing up as I see all the love and prayers that went out to our girl Roxy. It is really heartwarming to know that so many people were with her in spirit praying that after spending so long waiting at the shelter that somwhere in the universe there was a loving home and family waiting for her. Toward the end sweet Roxie started to look as if she was giving up hope and retreating into a depression, but never lost her wonderful, loving disposition. I must THANK ASSOCIATED HUMANE IN NEWARK for seeing the beautiful spirit behind the sad eyes and holding onto her and allowing us finally to take her into our rescue to place her in foster care and reach out far and wide for a home for her. And to MIKES FEED FARM for rallying around her to let the world know what an awesome pup she is! Her foster family and her forever and every loving family just brought this little girl back to life and she just oozes happiness now! Why we do what we do. . .
