I am reading that Antonio Martin, 18, was shot and killed out in Missouri not far from Ferguson earlier this morning or late last night. My condolences are extended to the young mans family. But the deceased young Martin was part of what I still term to be the problem. Meaning, if reports are true that he pointed a gun at an officer---and apparently there is surveillance footage that will show just that---well, then he got what was coming to him. I will protest and file lawsuits until I am dead where there are cases of excessive, reckless or unnecessary use of deadly force by law enforcement officers against citizens. But when a young man decides to be reckless enough to jump bad and point a weapon at an officer, well, I will not shed nann tear for him. Martins act was stupidity on steroids and because of it, he now lies dead and his mother stood broken hearted near his dead body this morning crying about how they have her baby lying out there on the ground. Again, my sincere sympathies go to her, but I pray that other young men...particularly young black men...wise up and recognize that violence will only beget violence and get them---and whats worse others who look like them---beaten, maimed or killed.
