I am reading todays headlines in some Geman Papers: Attack on freedom, we have to defend our values.... Who is we and who are them? This polarisations are so enervating. I have to say this springloaded culture debate is momentarily really something European. What the hell do this gunmen have to do with any culture? Bringing the debate immediately to this point has nothing to do with Charly Hebdo or what they are standing for. I always loved their style for their unbroken anarchism. Attacking them is just a senseless act of brainless hopelessness searching for an outlet of individual frustration. Satire magazines have to struggle so much. Every edition needs lots of tiny attention, the drawings, the outlline of the content. I you watch this Video youll see, Charlie Hebdo was a soft target. They arent working in a huge space with lots of corridors or security. The people killed were brave and strong mentally not structurally.
