I am ready for Christmas Day! Had a hospital procedure at 10am and then went to eat lunch at Panera - all by myself...lol. Then because it was cold and I was tired I got in my car and heated it up and went to sleep for about 15 minutes. No drool. Successful napping.!!! Proceeded into Walgreens and picked up some stocking stuffers and then to Harris Teeter where I completed my dinner shopping..Get home to speak to the police officers about a man taking our pressure washer ...really! Then starting cooking dinner when the Kip N Amanda Travis family came by and we had a little impromptu dinner. Spaghetti and Chicken Noodle soup. When what to my wondering eyes should appear: Melinda Redshaw with great food to compliment my cooking - what a great friend!!! I am so grateful for all God has given me. I have a beautiful life. I may not always remember the beauty when the colors start to run but I try and quickly get back on track. I was really missing James tonight when I came about his stocking. I just wanted to fill it up...but I had to put reality back in the picture and realize he is in heaven and wouldnt need the things of this world. He is whole and happy. And that is all this mother wants for her child. So tomorrow we will EAT a WHOLE LOT and open gifts and stockings. Watching little Jamie will be our highlight. She is our little healer in so many ways. I will be missing my family from Florida. Merry Christmas to those who truly understand Gods gift - his Son. For the love of the father to send his only son to die on a cross so young so that we could have eternal life. Now that is the gift that keeps giving. Have faith!! God Bless you all.
