I am ready for a new week. Last week had many first for us. Monday, Spence Ran full speed through a sliding glass door. The left knee took the major impact so 25 stitches later.....Tuesday, Spence went to school, at 7:05 the clinic called hes injury was bleeding though the bandage, perhaps popping a stitch, so back to the ER. We were thankful it wasnt a popped stitch just bleeding. Wednesday, Corbin was at wrestling practice at hit his head(during one of the moves) and sustained a concussion. It is the scariest moment to see your child immediately following a concussion incident and the Absolute unaware look in those eyes! My heart was hurting. Back to the ER, where as luck would have it the same ER Dr from Monday was there. He did a thorough check on my brown eyed boy. He said Corbin would have headaches. The Dr could not tell me how long or how severe the headaches would last. It has been quiet the rest of the week. Thank goodness. Lundy is safely bubble wrapped in a Secure Location!! HA I am thankful for Twin Cities ER and Dr V!!
