I am ready for the early bird special I guess. Billy Joel had a song Scenes from an Italian Restaurant. I am a little superstitious and have had lunch at Romanos Macaroni Grill before each show for the last 5 shows, it is nice and close and the service is good. Today better not be a harbinger of the show First and this will be my biggest complaint forever and ever with ANY restaurant, Just because I am a single doesnt mean I want to sit in the Frackin bar. NO NO NO. You have 60 open tables. You are a Restaurant not a sports bar...you make your money selling FOOD. If I wanted to sit at the bar I would go to a bar. Dont ask! A bar is where you buy booze, watch sports and flirt with the bartender. I want to be comfortable when I dine, especially Italian. B). Who picked your music? Since most of your customers are between 40-100, hip hop and gay bathhouse techno....no. Really? The music is for the guests, not the waitstaff. 3). Water at the table or at least ask. It is 100 degrees out there. Yes I am a TG, yes I am alone. But water is a normal practice even if you are uncomfortable serving me. (My eyes are up here not out the window). When I say I will have the iced tea, sugar please that means I want sugar not you are a sugar. You will flip my table quickly, I dont have anyone to talk to, I didnt bring a book, I dont own a smart phone. 30 minutes TOPS. Just do what I ask and no one gets hurt. Now to out me, I eavesdrop. The table next to me had to Google Cannoli Hell even Nebraskans know what a cannoli is (they may not pronounce it right but they know). Then you had to explain to the three people with you that if you go to a Mexican Restaurant you can get sopapillas (ok maybe they havent been to Casa Bomita) but you dont tell them it is like a dessert pizza Mexican style I need a life, a companion or the 4$ Early Bird @Denneys
