I am ready for this day to be over. This past week has been so emotionally stressful and draining. Ive had to put up a wall and block out my own sadness inside so I could focus my energy on helping Jason and Shannon make it thru this because that is what BJ would want. However I need to be able to mourn him and the loss of our friendship too. I only knew him for half the amount of time as Jason and the rest of his lifelong friends, but we were very close for the last 6 years of his life and he was one of the best friends Ive ever had. All the time we spent together and the countless in-depth conversations we always seemed to end up having are priceless. He was the only person that I could count on to be there thru thick and thin. Im so blessed and grateful to have had him in my life. I will miss him so much but I keep telling myself that I will see him again one day. There was one bright spot this week though, I got a surprise yesterday while doing some laundry. I came to the bottom of the clothes hamper and found one of BJs hoodies that he had left here a few weeks ago, I had forgotten that I was going to wash and return it to him. Now Im thankful that Im a procastinator and hell keep me warm in the winter đRIP BJ! Love you always!
