I am really beginning to hate phrases and words people commonly use and hide behind such as humanity, or thats what it is to be human. Oh really? So you are telling me that you have taken into account the feelings of all species on this planet and possibly even beyond and are 100% certain that the quality you speak of only exists in Human Beings? I call BULLSHIT! One of the number one problems with how our world runs these days is the simple mindedness of people choosing to take into account only what they can understand in their personal bubble. For the love of God try to realize that you have a bias towards your own experiences and well being and that the hubris our species expresses towards itself in the media, and in much of our education is nothing but pride before the fall. It is absolutely sickening for me to see and hear this garbage everyday and for people to not even stop and think about just how small our species (let alone just one individual) is in the grand scheme of creation! I can no longer tolerate this nonsense and this mindless speceism needs to at some point very soon be addressed. The specieism we experience today I feel will almost definitely be seen in the future as on par with the same stupidity as racial prejudices except probably bigger seeing as we are not simply talking about groups of humans here. This is of course assuming we make it to that point as a planet before we nuke ourselves over the desperation for resources, since our politicians couldnt quite get just what they wanted politically out of a situation. My rant is done for now but I refuse to sit idolly by anymore and let people believe this obvious lie! If only people could stop thinking just about themselves and think before they speak.
