I am really frustrated. Tonight I took Noah trick-or-treating, he was so excited and treated til he dropped. When we got back home we surveyed the goods and he had a bag full of every candy you could think of. Then I had him help me clean the house up a little bit. While we were cleaning we heard a pounding on the front door along with the doorbell indicating trick-or-treaters. It was 9:35 pm. I was in PJs so I had Noah answer. He took his personal bag of candy to the door since we no longer had a bowl full to offer. He told the kids to take one a piece. The grandmother that was with them asked Noah to fill up a water bottle for her granddaughter. He came in the kitchen and I thought it was a strange request. When he returned the kids took off and with them they took almost all of Noahs personal candy leaving only small pieces in the bottom of the bag. Noah has been crying all night because he cant understand why they would take his candy that he worked all night for. I feel awful and so sad. We thought we would be nice and offer candy even at such a late hour on a school night and they took advantage.
