I am really sick right now...about 6:30 this evening this pitbull was running all over my street, as hes done too many times. I look up and see this idiot pulling a cat on a leash walking towards the pitbull...the pitbull is his and he later said the cat was a stray....of course the cat was struggling to get loose. Next thing I see this pitbull is charging at the poor cat and this idiot is slinging the cat, I dont know if he was trying to save it from his dog or taunting the dog, either way the dog got the poor cat and mauled it to death. I was damn near in hysterics. Jimmy ran out there and got the cat and took the leash off of it and held it, it was damn near dead and died a few minutes later. The owners took the dog home and I called the police and animal control. Norfolk animal control came and stayed here over an hr waiting on Va Beach animal control. This happened almost in front of my house which is in Norfolk...but the dog lives in Va Beach. Va Beach animal control never came...I am guessing they are closed after 7. My neighbor called Va Beach and filed a complaint and I also did...this dog gets loose often and he has tried to bite my neighbor and his dog before but John kicked the shit out of him and he left. John has called on this dog several times in the past. I am a huge animal lover and it was heartbreaking to see this dog kill this poor defenseless cat, the cat didnt stand a chance being as the idiot had a leash on him and instead of letting it run off to safety, held onto it. I want something done and soon before he kills my cat or maybe a kid....this is bullshit and I am upset about it!! :(
