I am really worried about my husband, Pat. In the last two months he has had a kidney stone, lithotripsy without adequate sedation before the shock, and two trips to the ER for that. On the same day he felt the kidney stone, he was told he had shingles (which hasnt seemed to bother him too much) BUT he has lost twenty pounds. He has tried to eat but just says he feels full. Because he had colon cancer in 1980, he had a colonoscopy but the doctor didnt find a problem. Weve gone to our primary care doctor who, I felt like, was indifferent to our problem and said it wouldnt hurt Pat with his diabetes to lose some weight. Hoping to distract him today we went to see Lucy (the movie) and we both liked it very much but afterward we went out to eat and he walked like a 100 year old man. He ate only a little and he looked very pale. Although we were in a cool restaurant, he broke out into a sweat. He was very frustrated yesterday (so was I) and he wanted to go to a minor emergency attached to our medical center ..they know us there... and the doctor said we definitely needed some answers but she couldnt order tests that our doctor could. We have another appointment with him on Tuesday. She said our other option was to go to the ER which we havent entirely ruled out but I feel if we did he would possibly be admitted but not be really seen until Monday. I appreciate you reading this and your prayers on his behalf.
