I am redecorating my dining room--slowly, all by myself--and am wondering if I can use these two vintage fabrics in the same room? I was thinking of using the bold pattern for some short, pinch pleat valances, and a throw pillow on that chair which will have those yellow tweed cushions. As you can see, it echoes my two shags, and a painting already in the room. The ogee print only covers six chair seats. Or is this just too busy? All the background walls, trim, and the large rug are bone... I am not trained in this. 😀 (A close up of one of the two identical shag rugs is in the comments, showing that same mango/yellow.
