I am requesting more prayers... Not just for a speedy recovery for my dear sister; but also now for mom/Carmen. After heading home from visiting my sister at the hospital Friday night; mom became ill. I have been with her in the ICU since Saturday. She had a heart attack and fluid in her lungs. Tomorrow a procedure and possibly surgery. Needless to say I am physically tired and emotionally drawing strength from every source available from the Universe and my dear friends(who are my great brothers and sisters in the spirit). A special thanks to Gloria, Noelia & Julio and Rosalyn who came immediately to the rescue for support with their presence, food, snacks and time for me to go home to shower(I hadnt showered for two whole days). Thanks Mildred for folding and putting away all of my laundry. And to all the others who have stayed in touch via phone and text... Your support and kind words mean the world to us. Sometimes we think that we have to make grand gestures to help others; but it boils down to the simplest of things that make for the most amazing proof of love, solidarity and the force of those who care about us united to make an impact on our lives... You are each greatly loved and appreciated! :)
