I am sad to learn that the man who was my pastor during my teens in our small town Methodist church, Rev. Ellis Bedsworth, passed away. What a precious, gentle man he was. I remember him so fondly. I remember how every Sunday he would kneel by his lectern before the congregation and pray before his sermon...Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in thy sight, O Lord, my strength and my Redeemer. (Which is Psalm 19:14 KJV) As a young teenager, that left such an impression on me...his humility, his sweetness. I know Reverend Bedsworth is enjoying his great reward now in heaven. Praying for his family.
