I am saddened at the loss of lives but just like most religious people do, I cant help but see the imprint of Gods message in the Synagogue building collapse. Churches are above the law and blatantly disregard building regulations, only last year Winners Chapel members beat and locked up Ogun State officials who were trying to enforce standards in some of their buildings. The building that collapsed at the Synagogue was said to originally have being a four story building which had now being converted to six stories. More importantly I believe God is tired of the blatant commercialization of His name and has decided to expose the emptiness in many of these men who have made a fortune from selling what I call Snake Oil Gospel. simple TBs major claim to fame is telling us he SAW everything that happened and that would happen, who would die, which plane would crash, which football team would win the European Champions league etc and God would not show him an impending disaster involving the lives of scores of people who came in search of God through him? That does not sound like the nature of God. All these happenings have a message, I hope people are wise and discerning enough to identify emptiness by its fruits. May the souls of the departed find rest with their maker.
