I am seeing all these posts about how to or not to greet each other during the December of our continual discontent of words. As I have said before, if you are given a wish of happy WHATEVER and you get your panties in a twist then in my opinion, you are acting like a pompous ass. But if you are out here on the web telling me about what other people are sick of hearing and picking out groups which you dont even believe their theology, then you are also included in the group who I consider PAs. (Especially if you are an atheist complaining about it because it shouldnt matter to you if you are wished a happy pompous ass day or Merry Christmas, or Happy Hanukkah, or in my experience I have been wishing everyone a happy break. (Especially that cute trans guy who I debated in class who stopped to wish me well and said hy would see me next semester.) We should be treating people the way we want to be treated. Perhaps there is a small group of people that dont give a shit about having people being kind or you dont give a damn about being kind to others nor do you value those you surround yourselves with. I know a few of those, actually. I wish we practiced courtesy and kindness more than 11 months of the year. There, I have participated in the first part of Festivus... the airing of grievances... my feat of strength will be ignoring those looking for a fight. Go fight your good fight with someone else. I am not interested. I cant wait until January, when we return using common courtesies. Let your hearts be light and may you have a great end of the old year. I think most of us have wrung out all the trust, kindness and humanity from 2014. Here is to putting up a new calendar... may we be better in the pages of the new one.
