I am seeing that 50,000 people are not doing well financially in Asheville and now this C-T story is saying 100,000 Buncombe citizens go to DSS every year. While its true some who struggled this time last year may have moved on to greener pastures. The truth is once you land in poverty and hard times these days there is a much weaker opportunity ecosystem after 35 years of Reaganomics. At the same time $485 even once a year in their pockets would make a difference in their lives.
