I am seeking volunteers to assist with the development and testing of novel survey tools we will be using in an important project called LIFEBID. Your help is essential if we are to develop tools that can be used to reliably gauge and measure people’s perceptions, behaviours and attitudes. At this stage we cannot give you too many details about the survey as it could influence the way you approach the survey and hence bias the results. We can say that the survey will take around 10-20 minutes of your time and involves answering a number of questions and watching several videos. Anyone can participate in the survey so we ask that you get your friends and family to also complete the survey. We want as many people of different ages (18 Years of age or older) and occupations and nationalities to complete the survey, so please get your friends to do it, but don’t tell what the survey was about. To participate in the survey please go to fseg.gre.ac.uk/surveys. Our survey is the first one in the list, ‘Observation Survey”. We are also seeking people to register for our second survey which will run later this year. This is the second survey on the page, called ‘Domestic Fire Survey’.
