I am selling my Accuracy Basses custom 6 string for a clearance price of $3500 (originally over $7200). This is one of last years models, was built for me by Accuracy as a show piece as their sales representative and has hardly been played..I prefer 5 string. I am only selling it to make room for my new custom 5 under construction right now! This bass plays like a dream, sounds incredible and is lightweight for a 6 string. The construction is as follows: Neck through construction of hard maple with padouk and wenge stringers. Swamp Ash body with a spalted maple top (matching spalted maple headstock top). Padouk fretbord. 35 scale, 19mm spacing. Preamp is Accuracys 3 band with mid cut (frequency 500/100). Pickups are Accuracys split coil custom (pickups are wound by hand exactly the number of turns to match the impedance of the preamp)... so the P/U are made at the exact same time as the preamp to obtain 100% of the sound!
