I am sharing these images now as I am not going to be able to blog about the series of events until the kiddos are back in school and I can get caught up on what I am behind on, but I need yall to know what has been happening a bit behind the scenes here at SFP! Two years ago today, Misty and Eric Stich were joined together in marriage. I photographed the girls morning as they got ready, the ceremony, all of the family images and all of the wedding party images after the ceremony. We made a stop at the Union before heading to the reception, and while we were there, the memory card corrupted within my camera. You read that right...the memory card CORRUPTED. As in, my camera could no longer read the card, including over 500 images that were previously recorded to it. The blog that I will be writing will be specific to the story of the data recovery. There are many, MANY ways to recover images from a corrupted, broken or damaged memory card...the lesson is simple; DONT GIVE UP. I just had to search and search until I found the right resources. In the meantime, operations stopped here while I prepared their images. I spent many nights editing their images, preparing a video and placing a print order. Yesterday, my husband and I hid (for an hour...its such a cute story!) in the basement of the grooms parents and when the time was right, our helpers assisted in getting the bride, groom, parents of the groom and close friends downstairs. Together, we watched the video that I had made of their wedding images. Those moments were memories that I personally will treasure for the rest of MY life! I wish the BIGGEST, BESTEST, MOST HAPPIEST TWO YEAR ANNIVERSARY to Misty and Eric! To all involved; family and friends of this couple, my own family and close photographer friends who aided in the aftermath and research of these events; THANK YOU SO MUCH!!!!
