I am sharing this again because it created somewhat of a stir in my pm box. A few of you, have over the years, encouraged me to run for office. Yesterday, it was more than a few. I am flattered by this encouragement. But, mostly amused. I have NO doubt, I would shake things up. Not sure how productive that would be. Especially, when my opinions would likely get me killed. Roflol I feel to be a politician, to do the job right and be morally accountable, personal agenda is not applicable. I am the kind of person that would truly desire to represent the people. My morals dictate such. That action would negate all that motivates you to encourage me to serve. Because my passions do protrude when it is a subject that truly matters to ME. You are correct! I am an extremely passionate person. I do not try to hide it. I write things passionately. I do so because I want to. Unfortunately, for me, my passion can blind me to reason. And, it would drive me to action, even before I knew how the people wanted to respond. Yes, This country needs passionate people serving. KEY word: SERVING. Passionate about serving, not passionate about a personal agenda. I do try to be fair. But, unlike my passion, fairness is forced. That is something that needs to be balanced among itself and common sense. My passion would motivate my wrongly. It would drive me to expose and destroy those who have wronged and are destroying this country. My passion would make me part of the problem rather than the solution. Unfortunately, imo there is lots of passion running amok in politics these days. Common sense, morals and fairness are extremely rare commodities. I want nothing to do with being like that.
