I am sharing this with all of you. It was posted by Dr. Jay Dodd, TheDemon Doctors this morning. It is very well written. Gifts & Talents In everyday society people overlook the everyday talents and abilities that God has given to each and everyone of us! I am talking about the people who use their talents and God given gifts that have became the norm of acceptance in everyday life. Example : • Surgeons with the steady hand • Singers with amazing voices • Pro athletes with their amazing ability • A neighbor that has a keen sense of wisdom to give • A boy on a skate board that can do amazing tricks • A young girl who has the grace of a dancer These talents and gifts of these everyday people go on without being considered as a gift from The Heavenly Father because it has became the normal acceptance of these great acts! But if someone maybe such as yourself make a claim that you have been bestowed a special gift from The Heavenly Father such as the gift of sight to see spirits, a psychic, a medium, or the ability to crossover spirits, or cast out demons. You will be judged and ridiculed by most! Why? There are several different reasons why, I will only touch on a few! One reason is people know these types of abilities do exist, but so many in the past & today have tried to say they are the real thing, and have been proven wrong! So people are very skeptic when these abilities are mentioned. Another reason is human nature! It is our human nature to be better or greater than our siblings! Each and every one of us has the desire to be set apart from one another in different ways. This causes jealousy with in most, for another to have something that we do not have. Then questions arise of why them and not me? I wish I had that talent or ability! Did God choose to give them this ability because they are closer to him than I? Then this leads to people condemning themselves, in which they question their strength and faithfulness in The Heavenly Father & his judgment. Traditional churches teach that such abilities are not of God and are spiritual wickedness! Why do they teach this when the flock knows differently? It’s called Power of Control! The traditional church wants you and everyone of the flock to look to the church for answers! Not the person next to you with a God given ability! If you and everyone else would look to one another for their God given abilities for answers and help, then this would take control of the church away and the power of the church would be no more and the money they receive would be no longer! It’s a power struggle not to loose the flock of the church! Some churches have become a little bit more open to these special gifts, but yet they still have control over what they speak about! Why does The Heavenly Father bestow such gifts to people when he knows they will be ridiculed! The Heavenly Father has a plan for each and every one of us and a path that we should follow! Although we question the acts and the turbulence he puts upon us to be taken down this path, he knows the outcome! It is his plan and his choice to whom he bestows these gifts to help one another in life. The Heavenly Father could care less about what others think of a person he has chosen! The Heavenly Father does not go by man made rules and all the red tape. If you have a special ability given to you then it was Gods choice for you to have the ability! He needs no approval from any man / woman to see his works taking place through you! This is where you should relish in this ability knowing that God has chosen you for his purpose! I am not saying to set yourself up higher than anyone else, or put yourself on a pedestal. But to remain humble! Help your fellow man kind with your gift and give all praise / glory to The Heavenly Father in Jesus name. Do not worry about what others think of you or what they may say! They do not understand Gods plan for you and they never will! Your gift is between you and The Heavenly Father! Use this gift to help others that need your talent! Help teach others who may have the same gift bestowed upon them! One will never know the endless possibilities and gifts that God has chosen to give to someone! Do all your work in Jesus name! Scripture: 1 Peter 4:10 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of Gods varied grace: Romans 12:6 Having gifts that differ according to the grace given to us, let us use them: if prophecy, in proportion to our faith; 1 Peter 4:10-11 As each has received a gift, use it to serve one another, as good stewards of Gods varied grace: whoever speaks, as one who speaks oracles of God; whoever serves, as one who serves by the strength that God supplies—in order that in everything God may be glorified through Jesus Christ.
