I am shocked. I am (so far) not a big DNA enthusiast for Ashkenazi Jews, but when I heard FTDNA was having a free transfer of your information from ancestry, I thought I had nothing to lose. first it didnt work, I couldn see anything. It was technical issues. Finally I tried again just now. t knew I didnt understand this stuff that everyone is talking about here, , but thought it would give me matches maybe or easy to understand Well, everyone it is a hoax. To get information to contact anyone you have to pay or get 4 more people to upload their data. I was looking for a second at the ethnic makeup map in total shock. How could no one in the family know some of this,, until I saw it had new world. NO way, Jose. then I thought, this is totally wrong. Then I saw it was a demo. They wont give you the real one until you pay $39 or get 4 more people to upload their data. I dont think Im going to do it. Not because of the money, but because of the dishonesty. So they gave me about 24 matches for free (I dont know too much about these, but if this is the best they can do, it doesnt seem like matches to me), no way to contact them. Most of the 24 matches were like on ancestry- no way. Two were a possibility. How many shared CMs is a good possibility of a match.? I feel this company is dishonest.
