I am shockingly appalled at the way some people twist, distort and mindlessly take Scripture out of its obvious context to make it justify their opinions and behavioral choices; then, conclude thereby that God approves and blesses them as they are. If that is not ludicrous enough, hundreds of people buy into their conclusions! As God graciously gives me privilege to His pulpit from time to time, I promise to never compromise in any way the proclamation of His truth. I will preach what His Word clearly states without variation, without apology, and without social restrain; whether or not it offends, is popular, or is coarse against the grain of political opinion. To the best of my ability through the indwelling presence & power of Gods Holy Spirit, I will preach it with urgency, accuracy and effectiveness. I will never diminish its value with any element of theory speculating its absolute inspiration, inerrancy and infallibility. I want never to stand one day before the Judgment Seat of Christ and account for having mishandled or compromised in any way the precious message & truth of Gods Word. Our pulpits are lacking of this kind of preacher more and more today.
